You want to feed your people well, and you want to trust what goes on each plate. Currently utilizing multiple farms, ensuring diverse grazing habits. We are both taking advantage of underutilized ground by setting up rotational grazing systems that work for each location and strategically targeting spots in need of healing bare soil (where not much grows). Our livestock are the four-legged partners we use. Going to work every day. Rain or shine. Proving abundance can be achieved from the land, with the right management. There is no secret.

We rotationally graze pastures along with supplementing essential minerals and seasonal hay to raise 100% grass-fed beef and lamb in Adams County, Illinois. Featuring rare breed Navajo-Churro wool sheep and Greg Judy's Green Pastures Farm Grass Genetic Cows. As part of the homestead, we have kept ducks, chickens, turkeys, pigs, gardens, and more. In addition, we are a local dealer for The Fertrell Company.

Cattle

100% grass-fed beef

A quarter, a half, a three-quarter, or a whole. Your beef is custom processed the way you want it. The price is not posted. After we meet, the pricing for beef and lamb will make sense. In addition, if you are a producer looking for cattle, we offer quality grass genetics. We are raising South Poll cattle from Greg Judy and recently added mixed-breed Corrientes/Sim Angus coming from Horstmann Cattle Company. These cattle are not your feedlot type; they are 100% grass genetics. The way ruminants ought to be.

Sheep

Navajo-Churro sheep

A rare breed we raise and protect. The Navajo-Churro sheep have been adjusted to the Midwest climate and forage for many years now, but are tied to flocks from the West. Never any grain. Sometimes they are corralled and fed hay so they can be protected from predators. Shorn by hand. Wool and meat upon request. The meat is custom processed the way you want it.
