Pasture first. Then the soil, then the mill.

Other landowners who want to grow more grass and feed less hay can start here. Kyle can help you set a direction for pasture management — and if you are local, he may be able to manage for you. Fertrell and mobile milling are here when you need them too.

Grazing

Grow more grass. Feed less hay.

We are working to restore native grasslands for rotational, multi-species grazing with the cattle and the sheep. We manage multiple farms so each pasture gets enough rest and recovery before it is grazed again.

That is the grazing on our farms. The same standard is what Kyle brings when another landowner asks for help. Focus on pasture management and the land improves — the herd and the flock follow.

If you are nearby, Kyle may be able to manage the grazing for you. If you are farther out, he can still give you a clear place to start: what to change, what to watch, and how to grow more grass where you are.

Kyle Leonard:

“I know how to maximize the potential of your current grazing operation. If you're willing to listen and willing to make changes, I guarantee I can help you grow more grass and feed less hay.”

If you want someone to look at what your pasture can do for the herd or the flock, let's talk.

Custom millwork

The mill is mobile.

We come to your logs, or you bring them to us. Onsite and offsite lumber milling, talked through before anyone starts the saw.

Tell us the wood, where it is, and what you want it to become. We'll tell you whether it fits and what it costs.

Logs stay where they are useful. Hauling a whole tree is often the expensive part. A mobile mill skips that when the site can take the machine.
